tbf, im not v familiar w open source etiquette and formats (ive just been eidting stuff on my own private server when the mod authors are MIA on issues) but happy to learn. what does "progress on github" look like for opnesource? do i fork the mod and then push changes to my own fork (if so, how do these changes get pushed all the way up to the azeroth core official mod)?

Yes you take your fork, create a new branch and push the changes there

ah okay, got it. i did this once before w the racial swap mod, but wasnt sure if it was different for the other "official" mods or the base game itself
