i have 10 gameobjects in 10 different locations, probably all 10 active at the same time. each has to use a different (const / never changing) array of 500 -2000 entries to play the fireworks show sequence

so i would not want to copy the arrays all the time, well let me grep my WIP code, maybe that makes it clearer

based on location I'm grepping a pointer to a std::vector with the appropriate show and use that from that point on. But the compiler complains that i should "put the large vectors on the heap instead"

well the issue was that the 10 tables all have different sizes so I didn't know how to use a pointer or something to them
