In my country it's very sad that most of the hosting services are not so great. I bought hosting with enough space before but after I entered cpanel there was not even a bash terminal. I know it's a different story in EU or US stores, but it's a bit difficult for me because of the economic sanctions. I think that Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud would be great for this, if I could even have these free services... it was a little annoying for me to do this on my personal system.
