i was thinking about splitting it into 2 methods thats what i would do in something like php but c++ has overloading and im not yet used to account for such features in my thinking

I would change the signature to be CastSpell(spell, target, triggerflag) instead of CastSpell(target, spell, triggerflag)

also I don't think the triggerflag is necessary but that would require a refactor of the spell system and I'm not ready to go down that rabbit hole just yet.
