If in wotlk classic something is spawned (npc/gameobject) and visible in game it should definitely show in a sniff right? Also if something changes its model / DisplayId after spawning this should show?

Assuming fully parsing correctly, yes

So it could possibly hide in unparsed packets

Or incorrectly/incompletely parsed, yes

So I have 2 m2 files in the client that seem to not be linked in dbc to any creature / gameobject model / DisplayId right now. Can I somehow directly transform to those?

Usually I would say transform to model / DisplayId but that would not work. Is there any other place / dbc which could link the m2 model to something usable

I’m confident that these 2 models are in use in classic wotlk so I’m wondering how they’re doing it
