Registering a Lua function is as simple as this:
RegisterServerScript("scriptname" or ID through define, scriptFunction);
then when you want to send a script event: SendScriptEvent("scriptname" or ID through define, data);

If done right it's way less code than what we currently need for C++, it's simpler to implement, easier to maintain...
