Use tools were possible. No one wants to learn C++ through a project with such shit code. In fact, it should be the number 1 priority of emulators to work to better their UX.

Hey, if you want to start dealing with it you are more than welcome to do it. I have no opinion for it either way although I can totally understand why having it in the database rather than compiled C++ code is overall the better choice - it's still a lot of work that someone has to put a lot of time into.
