[DiscordArchive] so my question is, how is this working with a spell that appears to be removed from the game?

GUIDs are different every time a monster even spawns, they’re not unoptimized junk like on emulators where we just wait for a certain time and change their state. GUIDs may also contain instance ID or something like that, and in any way, Blizzard logs *EVERYTHING*. They can track down who killed what monster if they want to.
