If the server knows the max player level is 100, I would almost assume it was a client thing since that is ultimately who actually adds the bar to your UI.

Character does get XP, as "low" level quest are showing XP reward. I was unsure if the client needed a patch for the updates I made. I have patched other changes to my server and been successful so I'm familiar with that, just didn't want to go down a rabbit hole I didn't need to lol.

yeah, i'd guess (without evidence) that the client is probably hardcoded to a max of 80. but i don't know for sure.

Would you have any insight on what needs patched? The files in the database are not actual DBC files like I've patched before, e.g. spell.dbc

I'll see what I can find about how Lua handles interface things and what not. I checked my addons and toggled XP bar off and on, no difference, thanks for the reply!
