Basically making a new socket so any server connected on selected host / port can communicate with each other.
- Will have to pass packet communication, as well as player data through that new socket.

That's because you need the development libraries. With Linux, you install libmysqlclient-dev - I can't speak for MacOS since I don't use one.

It's not battle.net since that is authentication. Talking about people using two worlds to link them together.
