Yes but again, adding SetPower from inside the if to outside, above, the if is correctly updating the power. Why wouldn't it do the same inside the if since the print inside the if is printing every 2 second.

That's what makes no sense to me. The code inside the if, which shows clearly that the if is being true, doesn't happen but if you add that same code outside the if it does.

I keep seeing a message in the console every 2 seconds when the timer is >= 2000. Which is why it makes no sense to me.
