all i did was add
```cpp
if (GetTypeId() == TYPEID_PLAYER && power == POWER_MANA)
val = val + 1;```
to Unit::SetPower before the guard

this put the mana out of sync and forced an update from the server to the client, for some reason if the mana is in sync and u still ask the client to update the client doesnt seem to care
