I can imagine since it's a working core, yes it needs a lot of modifications to support newer versions of the game but at least you don't have to write it all from scratch.

I guess a lof of years will pass before there's a decent post-wotlk core of any expansion. I want to say *if ever* but someone will force it eventually, I guess.

And at times. Was discussed a few times in tc and in other rooms. Its why alot of pservers are actually unable to contribute to tc is because their adjustments will be incompatible with the current open source core

Its essential also why alot of stuff cant be easily cherry picked from tc 335 to azerothcore

its 14 years from wotlk and there is no good public core for anything newer so i doubt there ever will be
