That's for sure. Well, the price for GPUs still hasn't dropped but frankly they're way too expensive anyway. Other than that, it's better.

It helps that all available software you can get online so there's no need to pay the extra to get a physical copy.

What aggrivates me are the new budget model gaming gpus that are out and is coming out. Dam. Specs are on par with a gtx 970

No kidding. Well, I keep seeing ads for older hardware, like a gtx 1080 or even 980 where they claim that the GPU can run any new game on max settings. Sure, it'll run but at what - 1 FPS?
