hi everyone! has anyone made their private personal servers open to the outside world by use of services like no-ip.com or dyn dns? if so, did you put the actual external IP address or the dyn dns name in the realmlist database?

i have tried both and can't login from the outside.

i did. my server is on 192.168.1.120, when i use that ip i can connect just fine. but when i change to the external IP, nothing. i am updating the external IP in the client config.wtf, realmlist.wtf and in the server MySQL database using workbench. and i have port 8085 forwarded through my router.

You need to forward 3724 as well
