smartAI is definitely better than the eventAI vmangos still uses but for creature spells this system is definitely a lot better than smart AI, vmangos is the only emulator that does creature spells this way and blizzlike I think

blizzard also uses this system even for raid bosses as u can see here (Onyxia) they don't hardcode any spell in C++

mangos based private servers are too far down the rabbit hole with everything hardcoded in C++, it's too late now
