the main issue is that min and max aren't defined for each level currently but all levels of that creature use the same values(that's wrong)

and also that with the current system attack speed modifies dps, with the CLS system attack speeds never changes DPS. dmg is adjusted for the speed

+for custom content it's just a lot more convenient, damages are automatically generated instead of having to type min and max dmg, verify the blizzlike values etc

the /14 comes from the same formula that the player AP uses
Weapon Damage = (Weapon DPS + AP/14) * Weapon Speed

well the new formula is pretty much almost the same as the player formula
