From what i understand (and thats not much currently, but i promise to learn), a spell would need to apply an aura to the boss to change his movement behaviour. Like root, stun, whatever. But arent all these auras forbidden for these bosses from DB mask, so players cant use stun effects on the boss?

you can force certain actions, for instance: a player cannot stun a boss (immune) but you can stun the boss applying the spell directly via the code

In this case a spell makes sense if there's an "official" one. I mean, I thought that Gruul had a stunning spell after Ground Slam ('coz I thought it was the blue mark on his head) but I was wrong

so, in this case I don't think it's a spell/aura, then it should be handled by the code
