I can do 100 online on my current Contabo VPS without any issues, and that is with 2 realms running in parallel too

Anyways, I don't really think the issue is related to Contabo, I think it's likely that there's some periodic job running either in AzerothCore, or in MYSQL, that causes these stutters, and they're just not noticeable if you have a faster computer

I remember I had lag spikes like that when I used contabo about 18 months ago

Since it always happens exactly on the even minute of minutes that are on intervals of 5 it very much seems like a job scheduled similarly to crontab
