yeah the formula will be custom made, need to experiment, it's not blizzlike in wotlk, they changed int to add spellpower in later expansions, I can't remember with which multiplier

For the actual project, if I'm going to start it, I'll look for collaborators. But first I need to at least have a decent idea on what can be done, that's why I started experimenting myself even with my limited skills.
