Quote: for the cat, instead of doin a color overlay or just changing the hue, select smaller areas to work with and really spend some time trying to track down what part of the image you have opend up (in gimp/photoshop) relates to what part of the model in game.
as far as the boomkin goes i think your problem with the white blocks is your not working with a image that can save alpha channels. when you go to save the image from mywarcraftstudio save it as TGA or another file type that alows alpha channels. other than that i like what you got going with the demon boomkin. maybe try working with the opacity to make the red blend a little bit more.
