@here I know that a player killing a creature triggers the onCreatureKill method, but when your pet lands the killing blow that method doesn't seem to proc. Is there another method that gets called when a pet kills a mob?

Nah, I just turned my pet loose on aggressive mode and it leveled about 30 mobs. onCreatureKill never tripped.
