sorry guys, i can understand that hotswap is a nice feature and would be nice to have. But :
1) How much work does it requires? We will have performance issues since it requires boost(?)
2) Since it's not suggested for production and would be preferred to use ScriptAI/LUA for such dirty jobs instead in production..... why don't you use visual studio "Edit and Continue" feature: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/7yty6a48.aspx You can even change core functions not only Scripts and it's perfect for developing

The only cons about "edit and continue" feature is that it requires visual studio, but i suggest to all devs to develop under windows 10 since you can compile for both win and linux ( using windows subsystem linux aka "ubuntu bash on windows" ).
