I've been working on getting AzerothCore set up this morning. I miss many things and have to go back often but I'm content working my way through the guides and stuff that are on azerothcore.org. I've set up a little server and routed my traffic through a ddns so that I can play from my laptop.

With that said, I'm interested in adding some modules but I'm now sure how to start. This is my first exposure to coding, programming, and compiling; I don't know much. Where can I find documentation on how to configure modules. Also, I have some custom things I'd like to work in but don't know if it's possible. Anyone able and willing to mentor me a bit?
