I am attempting to balance the spell Burning Adrenaline (ID:18173) on the Boss Vaelastrasz the Corrupt for smaller groups on my server. My first idea was to look at increasing the cooldown between uses by going to Spell.dbc and looking at the RecoveryTime but its 0, is this not the right place to look for this?

Yes, Bosses use abilities on timers in script. Also if you change the timer in the screenshot, also go to the event function in that script and change the reschedule time

you could also reduce the hp % reduction of the spell itself so that instead of 100% hp reduction at the end of the spell duration, it drops them down to 50% or whatever you desire
