you know when you look at the direction of the object that is in your quest, it shows you question mark (like the footmen remains in murloc camp in elwyn forest) or exclamation mark (like the post with quest for hogger) and it also marks them on your minimap

and i dont want objects to have those marks so people can actually go around looking in grass

so when a gameobject is designated as a quest giver/ender, it will show the exclamation point/question mark if the gameobject has the "above head playername" attachment point inside its .m2 model file. If you want it to not show, you'd have to remove that attachment from each model, or hex edit the client exe to change the behavior. I don't think you can do that any way through the core or db
