Yes but also, there could be updates in the core or the database that breaks the server and the only reliable way of fixing it is to reset the world database.

I can't remember the exact circumstances but there have been plenty of times where the user had to reset the database to solve the issue(s)

Roger that, thankfully Ive only added lke 5-6 custom creatures and have only directly modified droprates for a couple dozen things, so I am early on enough that if I had to redo them I could

It's crucial not to reset auth or characters after all, those hold everything you want to keep no matter what.
