It seems youre on Ubuntu, you know you can run this natively rather than jumping through the hoops to use docker?

That's the issue though, I got the non-light version, version is 3.6.0 thus >= 3.x.x and during installation I let it install inside /bin instead of the win directory, which was the default anyway.

These specific unresolved symbols (OSSL_PROVIDER_*, EVP_CIPHER_fetch, EVP_DigestSignUpdate) show up when you compile against 3.x headers but link against 1.1.x libs
