But your issue wasn't access to the wow account, was to your machine or specially your MySQL, if you opened the MySQL port, which you shouldn't, and in the case if you do, only allow the IPs you want e.g the website IP, but even then I wouldn't host my server publicly from my machine

WoW isn't case-sensitive either, just so you know - if it at all mattered in this case.
