If you have multiple network cards in your system, say one is 10.0.0.20 and another one is 10.0.0.21 and if bindIP is set to 0.0.0.0 it will just choose one of those. If you want to make sure it uses the one that has 10.0.0.20 then you set that in bind IP

I guess a better explanation is that bind IP tells the server what IP to listen to, and 0.0.0.0 means it'll listen to everything.
