They launch the game, type password, it starts connecting, hangs their until failure. never reaches realm select. just goes to unable to connect

So I would guess the port isn't actually forwarded or not forwarded to the right LAN IP

oh wow. my auth server dies in .1 second now lmao. I was going to remake the realm so i deleted what i currently had. was a bad idea lol

So, just went back through and confirmed all 3 locations for forwarding are forwarded, and i'm still not getting any luck.

you can also check if the worldserver and authserver config has `0.0.0.0` for the `bindIP`or if you adjusted it to something else. When connecting locally and from external IP, it seems to be good to leave it as 0.0.0.0 (at least what i found out for my own setup so far)

BindIP is only usable if you have multiple network adapters and want to use a specific one. For 99.9% of the users leaving it as default is the best choice
