If you dont need anyone else in the same household as you (on the same network wife or cable) you can leave as 127.0.0.1 and you use it that to connect, your friends use the public ip

Same as for TDOW, if you dont intended people outside of your network to connect, just leave it 127.0.0.1, otherwise is whatevrer adapater name IP (ethernet or wifi) "IPv4" not gateway.

You just connect with either your local IP or 127.0.0.1 (if you set it as such)
