I mean I use a lot of addons that aren't. I'm playing a game from 15+ years ago. I'm guessing that to mean I should only be using Multibot.

the difference is that addons for the wotlk client dont need updating because wotlk client isnt changing. Playerbots is a constantly changing module and as it updates, adds features, removes features, or alters how commands work, the addon needs to update to avoid bugs and/or just things not working
