It's `creature_equip_template` and after changing it, make sure you restart the server and clear client cache.

You also have to update `creature` and change `equipment_id` to match the `ID` used in `creature_equip_template` for that creature. You can also change `creature_template`. I forgot about that, my bad.

Err, `creature_template` doesn't have `equipment_id`. Anyway, if `equipment_id` in `creature` is set to 0 they won't use any equipment.

creature_equip_template is where you set the equipement for the creature_template.
When you spawn them, they will use that value.
Existing GUIDs (creatures in the world) need to have their equipment ID (in creature, not creature_templat) to match the value you set there in creature_template
