How would one enale flying mounts in the eastern kingdom? i've got https://github.com/Tralenor/mod-fly-in-old-world installed and tried to edit the areatable.dbc and imported it into a custom patch, the flying mount is not greyed out anymore but says im in the wrong zone?

It could be that you need a custom spell that allows flight in azeroth.
I don't use this module, but I will try this in the future.

provide a spell (default Spell ID is 200001) which players can learn Ingame (this is done to mimic the behaviour of Cold Weather flight for Northrend, in Fact the easiest way to achieve this is to copy the spell Cold Weather Flying(SpellID 54197))

It looks to me like this spell allows flying in the Old World, but like I said, I haven't tried it yet, so I have no experience with it. So it's just a guess.
Flying should be banned in many areas of the Old World anyway, since the map isn't designed for flying and everything looks unfinished from above. As a GM, just fly over Stormwind and everyone will see what I mean.
