If you have mysql 8.4 and 9.1 (in their respective folders) they should be running their own service (if not sharing the same port)

The other mysql service uses the same port but isnt related to AC, so i keep it off until i need to use it

but in your case (if you dont have anything to lose currently) would just remove the mysql and install the one you wish

I don't believe I have anything to lose. I'd just been trying to set up a different game with MySQL yesterday, but that wound up being a bust so now I've got the database for that just chilling in my root. Though I'm not sure how much MySQL has to do with that
