It should have permissions. When I went through Step 4: Creating the Databses and User, it had me put in all those commands which should have given permissions, right?

thats create_mysql.sql
DBUpdater.cpp tho has a temp file it creates called create_table.sql it seems

for giggles, can you login into mysql with the user you created in step 4 and try to manually create a database

yeah you are logging in a root normally i assume, try with the account you created

yeah I can try to do that. I don't believe there was a password set is the only thing. Would it be the same as my root password?

alrighty I'm in. Create > Database, name it acore_auth. Do I need to change the Collation at all?

leave it default and see if it even creates the database, can always drop it later
