sounds like an issue with the Spell.dbc on the client side maybe. Does the rage reduction talent in both the client and server dbc match? Also are the SpellClassMasks set up correctly between them?

well I am using custom spell family values... I don't know if there are guard rails in place to only use original class families

but yeah they do match. spell editor shows the correct spells being matched up in the class masks
