The easiest test you can ask her to do, is to use a clean client. I dont think warmane client has any changes / patch to only work in their IPs as more recent private servers do for non wotlk

I got her to also try on the Chromiecraft client, and it still wouldn't work. We didn't do as much testing on that one though.

I connected my steam deck to my phone's hotspot, and tried connecting to the server. I even had my phone forget my wifi password so I know it's just my mobile data, and it still worked as expected.

The only thing I can assume is from the realmlist is either read-only and she's not saving the changes or it's wrong's set
