I don't know what you're expecting. AzerothCore only supports 3.3.5 so unless you overhaul the emulator you will only ever be able to play using the 3.3.5 client no matter what options you change.

I'm aware. I only set it to 0 so I could advance through the expansions at my own pace. so if I try to go to an expansion zone, I'd get kicked out. It won't let me make a Blood Elf, Draenei, or Death Knight.
I mentioned it to say that it's not the reason for the issues we're having.

a friend is trying to connect to my server, but her client seemingly isn't reading the updated realmlist file. She just gets the "invalid login" message even when using the correct account, and even when my server is turned off. I think what's happening is that it's still trying to connect to Warmane. (I tested it out on a warmane client, and it works perfectly for me.)
