the main problem is if you do a random normal for say a friend to help them, you get locked out of your heroic reward unless you do it first

which seems like an oversight, or just plain wrong behavior, which is why it seems trinitycore checks for the dungeon quest id in the list, not whether or not the list is empty

I'm seeing the same kind of pattern with lack of explicit description of whether they were exclusive, but I also haven't found any complaints about it yet. With the frustration that could be, surely there should've been some if it was the case.

well a vast majority of people use this stuff solo and might not ever make it to a gamestate where this could be an issue, and larger private servers might patch it themselves, leading to no reports, ro use tcore as a base where it is already solved

I'm inclined to think you're right. I've looked through any old comments I can find offhand about those quests or the emblems from them, and find no mention of a complaint or advice to do the daily heroic first to get the frosts. Nothing about being unable to get them, either.
