i mean i guess i could just put an aura on it in creature_template_addon that sets its phase mask lol

Yeah, but at this point, that would be more effort then just adding those "cool features" to your build.

99% of those repacks aren't actually anything the author made or did, it's just a bunch of modules they downloaded and slung together.
