i dont know why but my dbc files are not being added to the server (custom mount) . if i edit the sql manually, it works, but just copy and pasting the dbc file does not work. am i perhaps using the wrong folder? its the data folder in the build/bin/rewithdebinfo right?

It sounds like you have a Data folder inside your bin folder. Inside it should be a dbc folder. That is where you put modified dbc files, but depending on what you change, like for mounts, you will need a copy of that dbc file on the client in a patch mpq
