it's been about a decade. i don't remember exactly, but it had to do something with alt-arrow keys and i think the default putty hotkeys that overlapped with what i was used to, i went from hardware kvm to putty then kitty, from useability point, in fullscreen i can't tell the difference, it did take some massaging

how does that matter here ? u can use terminal to just connect to any headless machine u dont need stuff like putty
