When installing a module that says to use a certain commit, what does that mean and how do I do that? Or is it included in the core installation?

Or does this mean, I copy all of this commit, paste it into the .cpp file and I am good?

they usually say that the core has to be at least that commit
you are fine if you are on the latest one
