You should have a folder with that name by default the reason why you're using the folder over the mpq is to overwrite patch a without changing (if I recall correctly)

Step: Move the patch folder to your Data folder in your WoW client and rename the folder to patch-A.MPQ.

Which I did, but that means I can't/don't use the patch-A.MPQ the HD patch asks for in the seperate guide that this guide referes to
