You say I would run the command from that location. How do I run the command? Or is it an executable in the module folder?

if you're on windows, I'm not familiar with git on windows. If it is anything like linux, you open a console window at that location and run the command by typing it in and pressing enter.

Went back a few folders in the directory (Source folder) and ran it in command, but it didn't give any confirmation, is there a way to know it worked?

im not sure how git apply outputs information, sorry. I've always used the patch command for applying patches with dry run flags to show me what would succeed/fail on an actual run
