Install the required software listed in the azerothcore wiki, download and compile the source, set up the databases and the configs and there you go.

After changing the WTF I'd assume. But it usually switches back automatically

You only have to set up the software once so it's not like you have to do it every time you update or change something.

If you don't extract the data yourself and you're not at 1mb/s of download speed and you're not running a 90s pc 30 mins or so it's how long it lasts
