Quick question: Is it normal my server takes over the configs within worldserver.conf.dist instead of worldserver.conf?

somehow my server used these .dist files. Same goes for playerbots.conf.dist (there isnt even a .conf file of that on my server).

AFAIK, The .conf.dist files are not used by the server at all. They just show the default settings in an easily copied format.

I see, I copied the content to the .conf file as that seems the way to go. Still a mystery how the server took oevr the changed values of the .dist file though

If you have a desktop to work with, just search for *.conf.dist
