Could be they don't have the data files, could be that they're maybe in an archive and need to be unzipped, could be that the files aren't in the place that the `worldserver.conf` expects them to be

if you have these in Data Folder in same root as the server.exes

When I look inside the data folder in the root folder I only see an sql folder (Im working in debian linux and I'm very unexperienced with linux as well xD)

Yes, the data folder in the `azerothcore` source directory only contains SQL files. The data directory to be used for the actual server are a separate thing

Those SQL files should stay where they are and shouldn't have anything added to them
